It was meant to be about marriage and a personal celebration. Rebecca & Peter committed to cultivating a private moment between two people in love, they promised to love, honour, and cherish for the rest of their lives and sealed their devotion with a kiss, which was heralded as the beginning of something new. Together.
The rest of the evening was spent popping, rattling, and cheering to what may have been the happiest couple in the world at that exact moment.
They choose a stunning location for the wedding celebration - Lancaster House Hotel
Rebecca and Peter, I hope you’ve enjoyed your big day. You deserve the best and I’m beyond thrilled to call you my clients. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Much Love and Appreciation…M.
I wanted to share a handful of images from their big day.
In Rebecca & Peter's own words, here's their story.
How did you meet?
We met at university through the Music Society, it turned out that we both play the trombone!
Could you tell me more about your engagement, when and how this happened?
We went for a long weekend away in the Lake District for Rebecca’s birthday in 2020. We had a lovely time filled with long walks and good food, and Pete booked a fancy hotel room with a hot tub as a surprise. Pete proposed and we celebrated by spending the evening drinking prosecco in the hot tub!
How long did you plan your wedding?
We spent two and a half years planning the wedding – we weren’t in any rush and wanted plenty of time to organise the big day.
What made you choose your wedding venue?
Lancaster House Hotel is just next to the Lancaster University campus where we met and we had previously been to events there. It was a sentimental venue for us so choosing to have the wedding there was a no-brainer.
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
The whole day was fantastic so it’s hard to pick a favourite part! The ceremony was really lovely and the band in the evening were amazing.
What was your first dance song?
You’re My Best Friend by Queen
Would you like to say a special thank you to somebody who helps you make your wedding day perfect?
There are so many people who contributed to the day and helped to make it so special – our family, friends and all the suppliers and professionals we worked with!
