Unforgettable Wedding Moments

I wanted to share a handful of images from their big day and tell more about their special day.

In Sinead and Joseph's own words, here's their story, so take a look below, and enjoy.

How did you meet?

We met at Lancaster University, at a social for the music society. After playing in several bands together it didn't take long for us to become a couple.

Could you tell me more about your engagement, when and how this happened?

We got engaged on holiday in September 2021, on a walk along a trail in Sherwood forest.

How long did you plan your wedding?

Overall it was just over 2 and a half years from the proposal to the wedding day! Although it took us about a year to realise that we should actually start planning the wedding.

What made you choose your wedding venue?

We chose Hollin House because it's a beautiful building, especially the staircase and the orangery with a glass roof. The location further out of the city was also very nice, with beautiful grounds & surroundings.

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

It's difficult to pick, but probably being able to celebrate with everyone who came, especially in the evening when we had the amazing Jukebox Band playing for us and everyone was up on the dancefloor!

What was your first dance song?

Our first dance song was 'Baby I'm Yours' by Arctic Monkeys. Played by Jukebox Band, who were great!

Would you like to say a special thank you to somebody who helped you make your wedding day perfect?

There were a lot of people involved in making the day happen, so it's hard to single anyone out in particular. But it wouldn't have been the same without all of our family and friends being there to celebrate with us!
