I know as a mother how I wish I would have booked myself a maternity session when I was pregnant with my son! How I wish I would have captured that beauty of being pregnant!!
I know during pregnancy you might not feel your best and "grow out" of your all clothes.
But even though I didn't feel like taking photos, I truly wish someone had convinced me, posed me and made me feel beautiful. I would love to have gorgeous maternity portraits of myself.
Most of the pregnant women that contact me aren't necessarily looking to do pregnancy portraits - just to book a baby photoshoot, but I often end up booking them for maternity session as well (check Bump to baby packages)
I promise I will make you look beautiful, I would hide all the "flaws" you don't want to see and make your radiance shine through.
I know the hardest part of the session is figuring out what you are going to wear for it?
I provide all the amazing maternity dresses and will make you feel stunning.
As a maternity photographer, I know what is flattering on a baby bump, so I have some things handy for a pregnancy session.
I can arrange a makeup artist to help you get ready for your pregnancy photography in Manchester.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO BOOK YOUR MATERNITY PHOTO SESSION?
As soon as you know you are pregnant, feel free to contact me to secure your date. I usually book at least 6-8 weeks out and if you would like a weekend appointment it's especially important to book early - these spots going fast.
The best time to photograph maternity pictures is between 28 to 34 weeks of pregnancy.
You want to be clearly showing but still feel comfortable enough to enjoy the session. If you book your session prior to this time frame, the belly may not be prominent enough. If your session is later than this time frame, you may feel uncomfortable.
Please keep in mind that every woman and every pregnancy is different, so listening to your body is always best.
You ultimately choose to book your time when you feel it is best.
The father of your child and siblings are welcome and encouraged to join.
Where do the maternity sessions take place?
Your photoshoot will take place in my home studio or on a location of your choice (extra travel expenses may be added if the location is outside Manchester). My home studio is located in the south of Manchester M23.
